I would like to get an idea from a mortgage broker what size loan I can get based on my personal circumstances. Some questions though...
1. Do they charge for finding the best product?
2. Any recommendations?
3. If I bought a property for £200K, what are the likely fees? e.g. stamp duty, solicitors etc.

1. Some do, some don't.
2. Not as a broker, no.
3. Stamp duty £2k, solicitor's dependent on fee and location as disbursements vary from area to area.I am a mortgage broker.
