Problem Getting A Letter

Afternoon people,

OK my problem I am struggling to get letters of my creditors to say the balance is clear and that the I owe them nothing but they seem to be dragging there feet over it. Is there anything I can do to get them to put it in writing that the balance is paid and every thing is now clear...

Do you have the final statement from your creditor plus maybe a receipt or bank statement to show you paid that amount?

Final payments are agreed over the phone name of supervisor/manager who has confirmed the amount is taken for future reference. But paid through the bank (Bill payment facility on online banking) so I can prove that they have been paid, when I phone and ask for a letter to say the balance is now clear all they say is that it is in the post
