Left over salted caramel?

Just made some salted caramel macaroons and have a big bowl full left. What else can I make with it to stop myself going back to the fridge every few minutes with a spoon
?
And how long will it keep?

Oooh Salted Caramel frosting is beautiful, make some cupcakes and frost them with it!
I make it by combining 600g Icing Sugar, 300g Cream Cheese, 300g Salted Butter and then as much salted caramel to taste.
I think this can be frozen too or you could halve the quantities as this would make a lot!September Grocery Challenge £0/£2250 -
sandwich little meringues together with it - yum!0

Hijacking slightly sorry but would you be able to share the recipe Wierddumpling? Sounds gorgeous.

250g icing sugar
80ml water
120g crème fraiche (full fat, who are we kidding)
200g salted butter
Place water and sugar in a saucepan and heat on a low heat til the syrup turns golden brown, this can take awhile and try not to stir as this causes crystals to form.
Add the crème fraiche a little at a time stirring constantly.
Take off the heat and add the butter, whisk til smooth.
Place in the fridge to cool. (and leave it alone, put away the spoon)
Thanks for the replys those brownies look good :hello:0 -
I'm struggling to get past the idea of being in my beloved dressing gown on the sofa, phone off the hook and OH out, with the bowl and a spoon.

Sorry, still there. On a more useful note, could you make some ice cream with it using the condensed milk method so you don't have to churn it?"We always find something, hey Didi, to give us the impression we exist?" Samuel Beckett, Waiting for Godot.
