Applying For Mortgage

Hi new to this forum, was wondering if anyone can help me! Currently in process of selling my house to a person purchasing through co ownership, however their co ownership offer expires end of this month, but the move won't happen till week after due to a legal issue that has cropped up. Can the co ownership offer be extended for a week or so, in a similar way in which you would extend your mortgage offer?0

Miasmummy, I can tell you that the house I was hoping to buy through co-ownership was rejected due to the valuation yesterday (so disapointed!) anyway my broker called co-ownership and they can keep there offer for three months for me.0

Really hope everything works out for you alisara. The buyer had his 3 months unfortunately he took his time getting a mortgage which is why everything is so messed up and running over the time limit. Just wondered if co ownership had ever extended for a week after the valuation expiry date?0

You should check your credit files with all three agencies before applying for any kind of credit (especially a mortgage) just to be on the safe side.
The scores given by CRA's don't mean anything either; it's the information contained in your reports that's important. Being on the electoral roll usually helps immensely. What will your verse be?

Just to let you all know, I applied for the mortgage almost 6 weeks ago, and just got accepted today depending on the valuation
