can i pay (Very Account) if my debt has been sold on?

Hello I'm 20 years old and have an outstanding debt with Very Catalogue.

My debt has now been passed on and assigned to Cap Quest. I was wondering if I could actually just log-in to my very account and repay what I owe there? or do I have to pay the company who's took on my debt?

I'd feel more eased if I could pay (Very) instead of a debt management service, Just to know my outstanding debt has been solved?

Very no long own the debt, you need to pay the company that owns it now. Why would you prefer to pay Very? It makes no practical difference to you or your credit file.

I've been reading up about Cap Quest and the majority of the reviews are negative, suspecting the company is a scam? If I'm paying a company, I want to make sure its clearing my debt and not someone gaining a few pounds in their pocket!

CapQuest are not a scam, they are debt collectors. They are not the best people to deal with, which is perhaps where all the negative reviews come from, but they are defiantly not a scam.
