Advice needed, please?

Can I send a sick note (for 2 weeks) and my resignation note (last day at work will be on the the last day of my sick note) in the same letter to my employer ?

Many thanks

Yes, if that's the notice period in your contract.

Why are you resigning while off sick?

You could but you may find any discretionary sick pay you may get, could be stopped.
If you just get SSP or contracted SP, go for it if that's all the notice you need to give.

This isn't anything to do with us.

The answer to your question is yes, you can.

No it isn't, however the best advice may not be given unless we know the background. So while your answer is technically correct, it may not be the best thing for OP to do.

Yes - as long as you are required to give one week's notice and not two.
