Essential oils....

Options
Hi, I looked in Holland and Barrett yesterday for some eo to put in my vinegar (all old cleaning products used, now it's time to try the famous vinegar!). The smallest one they had was £349 for 11mls of tee tree. Is this about right? I didn't buy it coz I thought it looked expensive...
If it is, can anyone suggest where I can get them better value, either in a shop or online, and I want to get at least two different 'flavours'

Thank you

Sarah x

I have bought a few off ebay, tea tree is not a cheap one so for 11ml thats not bad, but some you should be able to get for about 99p + postage. There is one person on there though that doesn't have brilliant feedback and the oils are vile so avoid. I always buy my lavender from H&B when its on offer which seems to be quite often.

What I find with the H&B ones is they are good quality, you can usually pick up essential oils in £1 shops etc but the quality isn't the same, some stink!

I tend to buy them in H&B when they are on offer, all mine I have collected when they have been half price on one of the promotions. Another I have ordered from is https://www.summernaturals.co.uk but the postage is high so order it when ordering other items.
One day I might be more organised...........

The holland and barret oils are definitely some of the best quality I've used. I too tend to stock up on lavender when they have it on offer.
I think you get 20 drops per ml so 11ml is actually 220 drops - which is lots when you only need a few drops at a time.

Im assuming OP has a typo in her first post quoting £349 for a small bottle. That works out at more than £1 per drop of the stuff if Shara's calculations are right - which combined with the cost of the vinegar is much much more than using a bottle of Cillit Bang to do the job!

£3.49 would be much more reasonable however!

Have a look at Tisserand oils, they are a bit more expensive, but the quaility is superb, I think you can buy them at Tesco, but you should be able to get them on the internet too.
