Had a quick google looks like its a bit like MyOffers ~ hope not for your sake, good luck when you ring them.
A thread naming these type of sites would be handy ~ especially for newbies.0 -
I would be cautious
Is this a competition you have entered. If not how can you win?
If you have won why not just send the prize? Why do you have to confirm it by phoning an expensive number?
Do check again on the letter. Does it say you have definately won a prize to that value. Or does it say you have won a prize which could be up to that value. This is usually a marketing devise and you have probably won a low level prize which is worth less than the phone call. It would be an excuse to send you further letters or to get you telephone number so that they can contact you with further marketing. You may find that there is some very small print somewhere giving a break down of the prize allocation
This kind of thing can often be an even more sinister scam.
If you haven't entered a competition and/or you have to part with money either directly or via a premium rate telephone call, I would personally ignore it“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0 -
Sorry but Carol will try and get you to buy timeshare
She will also ask for "fees" of approx £250 for your "prize"
Avoid!!!

I'm sorry to tell you, its a scam/ underhand marketing ploy. Look at the thread below. Despite what the letter says, you'll have to pay something to receive this 'prize'.

I had a letter this morning from FRIEDRICH MUELLER's legal department saying I've won from a variety of cash prizes £35,000 in cash being the highest and £400 being the lowest. I think this is a scam as they are based at P.O. Box 1011, Veinna, Austria - so anyone else BEWARE0

and I think the plum offers prize could be a timeshare but it still costs you money0
