                    Hi guys,
Going on a short break to Eindhoven. 1 Adult plus 3 kids. I have reserved an hotel for 124 Euros per night. City tax of 3.5euros per person per night.
My enquiries are;
1) Do anyone knows how i can beat this quote?
2) Is there anything like family travel card or ''kids go free'' on public transport as we have here? airport to hotel etc
3) Any cheap sight seeing in eindhonven
Thanks so much
KayB

            Anyone understand their transport system?0

            Are you flying into Amsterdam? If so, there are trains every 30 minutes to Eindhoven but is not exactly a hot bed of tourist attractions. There are local buses to get around but I am not sure what you are expecting? It is famous really as the home of Phillips Electricals, a population of around three quarters of a million and in the 2000's held the dubious honour for six years of the highest crime rate of any city in the Netherlands!0

            not sure if you are interested but there is the most amazing theme park not too far from eindhoven (an hour or so away), its called efteling - if you can get there then go, its amazing and as for the philips electicals, is where the flying saucer building is which is also amazing0

            Cheers Folks.
 Do they offer something like1 day bus pass or family bus/travel card.Afterall, we have it here in our country:D0

            get in touch with the tourist office, they will be able to help you - its not a big city

 if you want to go to efteling then here is a cut and paste from another site
 A Dutch public transport journey planner is on www.9292ov.nl. From "treinstation" Eindhoven to "attractie" Efteling Kaatsheuvel, you take a train to Tilburg (every half hour) then bus no. 137; total journey is 52 minutes. You can also plan journeys from an address anywhere in the Netherlands0

            Tripadvisor forums are the best place for specific public transport questions0
