When companies ask you were did you heard about the competition do you tell the truth? and if you lie can they tell you came from here?

Sorry so many questions but I was wondering whether some would ignore entries if they knew we were compers :eek:

I have only come across a handfull that ask and I tell the truth (no idea which sites they were so don't know if I have ever won from them).

Generally they can tell if you followed a link from here (or google etc, they can tell what search terms you used on google or if you followed a link from here was it via a PM or not).
Whether they would bother to check or do anything is another matter, some sites block direct entry via MSE and others could simply be discarding the entries (no way of knowing but cannot be many if they do given the range of sites MSErs have won from).

I always put 'friend/friends' so it isn't really telling porkies as I see posters on here as friends
