Some BG's Profile Page Missing About Me Tab

Hello There,

I am using a Chrome browser & I clicked on a BG Dalkrist profile & I can no longer see that he is a BG, I just get two tabs Satatistics & User badges.

So to me he is not showing as a BG. Other people have looked & can see his about me tab so can tell he is a BG

Is there a reason why I can't see all the tabs?. It's just when you need to contact a BG on the board your on about something it looks like their not a BG if that makes sense

Dalkirst may have restricted what can been seen via the --> Profile Privacy <-- options?

You can still see who is a BG for a board by looking at the bottom of a board.

Hello Thanks Fermi,

When I click on Dalkrist from where you are showing me his profile come up with only two tabs none that says about me, which shows if they are a active BG

If Dalkrist has edited his profile can he edit it to block me from seeing his about me page but let others see it? As everyone else seems to be able to see it but not me

You can restrict who can see that info to people on your contacts list.

I'm just guessing that's what they've done though. There have been odd glitches with the forum since the recent server move, so you never know.

If it is the case Dalkrist has blocked me from seeing his BG status then I won't know if he is or not so will just PM the other BG's then in case I send them & he is not a BG

Plus if someone blocked me from seeing their BG status I would not want to PM them anyway to be honest

Those tabs are not the place to check someone's BG status anyway, and if they have restricted their profile I doubt they have done it for those reasons. The "about me" tab just shows a signature, which may be out of date.

The BG badge is an obvious way to check with more certainly.



Plus, as said, who is listed on the board and in the BG group list.

Earlier Dalkrist showed as having no badges I looked around 7pm, I've just clicked on it again & is now showing a BG badge

No idea what's going on it's all very confusing to be honest

Don't know if it's to do with the niggles with the site or not.

If I'm confused a new person stands no chance

It's not just you, I just get stats and user badges as well (cannot say if it has always been that way as I have never looked before)

I don't think it is the same putting people on an ignore list/blocking as the only options are to allow the information to be seen by everyone or just members or contacts or friends

I'm pleased it's not just me & that I have not been blocked.

I'm using Chrome browser I don't know if that's the same for you. At least I can now see Dalkrist is a BG as before he was showing no badges, I'm not sure why it keeps changing either

IE9 but just had a peep with chrome and it's the same.

Unless there is a glitch, should be the same whichever browser you use.
