MediCash - worthwhile?

Hello all,

I have been reading MSE's guides on PMI and medical cash back schemes. Looking at the basics, it seems worthwhile. Yet, I'd like to see if anyone has any opinions on the matter.

I am a full time student so I scrimp every penny. Joining a costly scheme like MediCash, therefore, does not seem at all appealing.

Despite this, I am considering MediCash's £15pm scheme. https://www.medicash.org/personal-health-plan/get-a-quote.aspx

The reasons are:
  • I wear glasses and would like to get contacts, possibly Daysoft and pay for separate aftercare.
  • I don't have the best set of gnashers, so go to the dentist min once a year, always getting at least one things done and would like a hygienist appt yearly.

All in all, I'm in two minds. Any opinions?

Thanks for reading!
