We booked an apartment in Paris with Clubcard Deals & "French Life".

Travelling out to Disneylands a doddle from Paris.
  • Have just phoned Clubcard Deals and been told that Leger are pulling out of the scheme and that they are looking for a replacement company but one hasn't been confirmed yet. Hopefully Tesco will realise that the last thing you'd want to do with small kids is stick them on a coach to Paris and provide a company that will do Train or Air deals lol!

    Hi
I use clubcard deals for lots of things, but tbh I reckon it's cheaper to "do Disney yourself.

DH and I tookthe kids last summer. We went in July, which is probably dearer to fly then than in November.
Anyway, in brief, I booked flights with easyjet (Paid around £240 for 4 of us. Booked 4 nights at holiday inn ( room for 4 total of £251 )
Booked the park tickets in advance online ( 2 full days £188 for all 4 of us)

Then when we got to Charles De Gualle airport we bought paris vista tickets and orange carte tickets (£74 for all 4 of us) These allowed us on all public transport in Paris from Monday through to Friday. So we used them to get to our hotel. We also used them to get back to the airport on our last day. We were able to hop on a train one stop to Val De Europe whenever we wished (A large cheap supermarket there) And we used them to spend a full day in Paris visiting The Eiffel Tower, Champs Eleyesses and The Louvre etc.
Kids loved riding the trams and trains, and as it will cost about £85 just to get the bus from the airport back to your hotel and then back the day you fly (and apparently it takes hours due to all the stops) it is worth getting.

I took disposable polystyrene bowls, cereal, and a carton of skimmed milk, plus cheese and crackers. I took a cool bag with me, and an iceland freezer sack which I filled with ice cubes from the holidy inns ice cube machine every morning and night to place in the cool bag. Milk and cheese was fine for duration despite temps of 90 degrees!!!

We took quiche and s ausage rolls in the cool bag for our first night and just had maccies for 2 nights then got a pizza in val de europe on the last night. also bought lots of fruit from val de europe and a big box of 10 cornettos was a pound!!!!

Holiday Inn also has a pool and a sun terrace. We chilled there for a bit on the last day.
all in all for our 4 nights, including flights hotel, all transport, 2 days in the disney parks and a full day out in paris. (We had to pay to climb the eiffel tower and get in the louvre, obviously, but it wasn't much) we paid just over £750.

    And it was absolutely fantastic!

Hope that helps and gives you something to mull over, as it wouldnt surprise me if a holiday with leger came to 4 times that much anyway! I wouldnt waste my deals whyen I can get that price. eg you can convert deald to air m,iles to fly to paris. But then you pay nearly £60 in taxes and an easyjet flight to paris only costs that much anyway!!! LOL
