Just looking for some pointers before I get the full details.
My son who was 18 in June sent me a text today saying that he had received a letter from Robinson way claiming that he owes £1117, my son has lived with us up until 7 weeks ago when he joined the army, now we have never recieved letters here from them, but strangely they have managed to get his army address, he was unable to tell me anything more at this point as he is still in training, and not able to have his phone with him, hopefully I will have more details later, he has no knowledge of owing anything, but was concerned about how they traced him to his army accommodation, and surely any debt he had would have been from before he turned 18, or it wouldn't have been passed on to a DCA so quickly.
I appreciate its all a bit vague but that's the only info I have, I just can't figure out how they got his army address, any advice would be appreciated.

I suggest he sends them this:

Then get him to check his credit report for this debt.
Not sure how they got his army address, but if he has taken out a phone or bank account at it then it will be linked from his credit report.:beer:0 -
Just had an update, it was for an 02 contract that hasn't been paid since 2004 (when he was 9), should be fun as the army legal team are taking it up now.Thankyou Sir Alex for 26 years0
