I'd never do this but a I have a couple of friends who do.
I think it's being very dishonest.I have a simple philosophy:
Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. Scratch where it itches.

Glad to find out most don't.
My recent experience was trying on a really nice ... to me expensive dress in Selfridges.
This was for a family wedding.
It was over £200 , not in a sale and was going to buy until noticed it smelt of perfume under the arms , then on one sleeve.
100% not my perfume.
This shop lost my custom.
Assistants should be more savvy.
I noticed this.0 -
I'm reassured that currently 80% of people would not consider this. 20% would or have.....it is probably believable that 2 in 10 are inclined that way. Disappointing though.
The big question is: Martin, have you ever?Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc0 -
Well, I wouldn't - it's very poor behaviour !Early retired - 18th December 2014

I think this is disgusting and would never do it. Fair enough to take something home to try on with accessories etc and realise it's not right but to actually wear it out? Wrong!
I was once horrifed in a department store as one of the shop assistants was wearing a dress and cardigan from the Joules concession and I could see the tags still on them so she clearly planned on putting them back on the rack at the end of the day. _pale_ If you can't trust that your clothes haven't already been worn by the staff, who else has done the old wear-and-return on the things you're expected to pay good money for?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Seems a form of theft to me, certainly not something I'd consider doing.0

Never even thought about it - it is very dishonest in my opinion.0
