Nobody wins with the CSA....

Over the last few years my assessments have been 'NIL', however I had arrears which I was paying off each month @ £30pm.
Recently my employer received a DoE order for 40% of my wage, when I took into account what it costs me to go to work in childcare and petrol I actually could not afford to carry on working and had to quit so I received housing benefit to keep a roof over my childrens heads.
I tried in vein for weeks to have the DoE order lowered but there was just no movement from the CSA.
I am now not working with the state having to support me and the CSA are receiving nothing not even towards the arrears.
So who wins in this situation? Nobody everyone loses...

Yes,it's a sad state of affairs. We found they believed everything our pwc said, wouldn't even look at our proof & have left us in a very vulnerable position re: our young son & the pwc has alienated all the ' children'.It has put a lot of unnecessary stress on our relationship(my husband is the nrp- I an a nrpp) but I am determined the CSA cant have that as well!0

40% would mean you have substantial arrears, or youve been non-compliant, depending on which it can be lowerd to 30%, unfortuneatly if the DEO is enforced, unless you can pay off the arrears in a lump sum payment they will not lift the deo under 40%.0
