Best places to sell books online

We have some books which we would like to sell as we are moving, which online sites are best and are there any pitfalls I should look out for.

I find books can be hard to shift, Amazon do buy some books, but will only pay 25p for some of their titles.

Ebay - Unless there desperate wanted titles - unfortunatley the price of postage puts people off

Have you got a facebook sellers page - as they may well be the best bet to go,

Car Boots - to be honest most stalls have books and ask 20p there still there as a lot of people have e-readers.

Sorry to sound negative, - I've been trying to shift 2 boxes of books there travel sick the amount of times they have been to the carboots. Good luck thou xxx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Depending on the type of book I've got rid of quite a lot through https://www.zapper.co.uk

They're not great for current fiction books but if you've got non fiction or some older titles it may be worth doing.

Have tried several of the most common websites but none of them taking the books I have. Such a shame when they are 1st editions. Suppose its carboot or charity shop for these.
Thank you for your replies though.

Have you tried a second hand bookshop? Sometime they will buy 1st editions and rarer titles
