buy to let on lowish salary

hi i earn £16,000 pa. I am single, 42 years and have a good credit history. i have paid off my mortgage ,house worth £100,000. I also have £15,000 in savings.

is there a way i could rent out my house and buy another one for about £130,000. Thanks for reading this.

    Yes, not all lenders will do it because of your income but in principle it should be possible.

    Speak to a broker. Many BTL lenders are broker only so you will have more lenders being considered than if you did it yourself
