anyone use a steam clean mop?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/H2O-X5-Green-Steam-Direct/dp/B00B23DXFS/ref=zg_bs_3285481_8

Been looking at the steam cleaning mops - specifically the ones that clean windows too.
Anyone got one?
Any other uses?
Ovens & grout any good for those?

Be interested in brands? Recommendations?

One thing I'm worried about with windows is boiling hot water running back down the handle, anyone experience this?

    I got a Vax one.
Sent it back the next day.

It was okay but I wouldn't have paid the £50 if I'd known. I bought a spin mop instead which does just as good without using electricity.
I did buy a Karcher window vac which cleans windows great and a hand-held steam cleaner which works really well on the oven.

I have just bought the Black and Decker 2-in-1 one. It's really easy to use, and has reduced my floor cleaning time massively!!

Haven't tested it on the bathroom tiles yet!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

People with steam mops, did you know that a lot of them have filters that you have to change every three months!!

I have an old H20 mop thats seen better days so I just took advantage of the offer on Argos website of getting a Vax instead of a cheaper model for the same price, however reading the instructions it talks about a filter, so I dug out the manual for the old H20 and that needs a filter too... i've had my H20 about five years and never changed it... I didn't know it had one. Am I alone in this??

I have a vax one that only does floors, my whole house is different types of non-carpet flooring and it does it all really well.

I find it quicker than mopping and I get cleaner results (however I go over everything twice, once with a small amount of floor cleaner and robust cloth and then once with just steam and a thin microfibre cloth).

but I think mopping is pretty pointless on it's own. when I worked brifly in a kitchen we only used the mops to remove the dirty water from the floor after the dirt had all been lifted with a long handled scrubbing brush - and it involved a 3 bucket system, 1 soapy, 1 clean water and one empty for the moppings. It's such a blinking palaver that I never do it at home, whereas I do use the steamer.
    :AA/give up smoking (done) :)
  • A couple of weeks ago I bought the Delta steam mop that was on sale at Aldi. It is brilliant. Cleans the floor in minutes and is dry to walk on in minutes. Also refreshed all of my carpets - in fact it cleaned them better than my Vax carpet shampooer. You won't be able to get one now though as apparently they were sold out Nationwide within 24 hours! For £29.99 it is the bargain of the year so far! Aldi inform me they won't be selling any more now until next year, but definitely worth looking out for.
