I need to send some flowers tomorrow. Can anyone recommend a good company that's not to expensive?
I have seen Value flowers mentioned before, but can't remember if they were mentioned in a good or bad light.
Thanks
LL

I used to work as a florist and was appalled by how little of the charges actually went on the flowers.I never use any of these companies if I can avoid it!When I have to send flowers ,I call a florist directly ,and pay over the phone by debit card. You can get a number from yellow pages.
If you send flowers to one person regularly (the mother in law,in my case)look around when you are visiting,if you see one you like go in and ask for a price list, look around to see if the stock is fresh and make a note of the number.Chat to the assistant if poss, to find out what you are likely to get for your money.
The shop I use for MIL will even pop out to buy a bottle of sherry, to send along with the flowers!0 -
I can vouch for the Post Office - my Nan loved her flowers!!0

I find next flowers really good and sometimes you get a free vase as well, but tescos delivery service was really awful - flowers arrived dead!
