Help me find a dress!

Arrgghhh!! Ive been shopping for two weeks, trying to find a suitable dress to wear to an area do I have next weekend. Ive tried loads of places I can think of and as yet have found it impossible to find a long black dress that has no fancy bits too it (like beading or ruffles _pale_).

I know its a long shot, but can anyone think of anywhere that might sell one of these rare garments? It has to be long as Im not a 'girly girl' and do showing off my legs. Id even be willing to compromise on colour if I could find something fairly simple in design and shape!

Please please please help me!

Never been to anything like this myself but could you hire something?

I'm sure you've done the obvious shops and I think these are too fussy from what you've said but just in case....

Don't know if it is your style but Next have a nice white trouser suit or does it have to be a dress?

Or principles here - not sure about the middle bit, might be a bit girly.

hi, have you tried Karen Millen or Coast (these are a little expensive but usually classic designs that would last forever), if not all these maxi dresses are in at the moment and as they're long in style you could try some of the high street stores such as Debenhams or John Lewis - these department stores are great as they have lots of franchises inside, they also offer a free personal shopper where you ring and make an appt telling them when you ring what style you're after and they get together a bunch of outfits for you to try when you go. Worth a shot if your not having any luck.

If you go on to the glam it up section there are loads of dresses to go through. There are also £10 off codes floating round somewhere.
