I sympathise with you! I have picked and chosen the OS things I was interested in and/or would be most useful to me. The first was cooking from scratch, seasonably, cheaply and tastily for my family. I enjoy cooking anyway and it is obviously a useful thing to be able to do. It has also saved a lot of money. I like baking but I don't do it that often because I eat too much of it! So I bake for occasions when I can share it around friends/family or sometimes take it to the staff room at work. I dabble in sewing - I made a patchwork cushion last year from scraps and gave it away. I made some bunting for the school fete. I've got lots of other craft projects that I'd like to do but I don't have much motivation at the mo! I like the idea of growing veggies and I have tried this year to get better at it - I have discovered that I quite like attacking weeds but I'm not very good at digging. Oh yes and I like making jam, chutney and lemon curd but my mum does too, so I don't make it very often. When I do, I save a jar or two for us and give the rest as presents to friends or sell them in the staff room at work.

Just pick and choose and go from there!
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D

    Hypnotherapy rocks :j
