Sounds like you are incredibly efficient0 -
I do:
Light colours
Dark colours
Blacks
Whites
I usually have enough blue to do a "blue" wash too.
Bedding goes in alone as a double plus pillow cases is enough for our machine.
Towels usually go in alone (one "bath sheet" is enough for my machine otherwise it's too heavy) or in the light colours wash.
Tea towels, garden gloves and oven cloths go in together with extra gel, sometimes on a 90° wash.
Jeans can go in with blacks.
I had a hoodie which will lose it's colour so that goes in alone. It's a bit too heavy for the washing machine when soaking wet anyway.
I also make sure I don't put whites in after a black wash.
I wash everything at 30° (apart from the "service wash" at 90°).
OP: I would put that clothing item in light colours.0 -
Thanks for everyone's replies.
FYI - I went with my gut instinct and did it with the whites wash and it was fine. Maybe it will help someone else who searches the same query.0
