hi all,
i would like to apply for a nationwide flex mortgage fixed for 4 years to remortgage my coop deal that will end in nov. ltv 80 or 82% (depending on valuation).
i am due a payrise which i am waiting to have confirmed in writing. its not much, around £800 but on the basis of this i have put my salary into their calculator along with the fact i will have £3k outstanding on my cc at completion and they have said they could lend me £115k. my outstanding mortgage will be just under £113k on completion.
i have also just tried it with my current salary and it said £114k which is enough to cover my mortgage.
just wondered if people had experience of how accurate the calculator amount is as i would like to apply to get ball rolling and my salary confirmation may take a month.
wondering if it would be best to wait even though its currently high enough?
thanks
