Not a stupid question! Apparently, it hasn't existed for a few years. I've noticed that one some online registration forms they don't include Middlesex in the drop down list. I have to say I live in either South or West London - neither of which is true. It narks me because I was born in Middlesex (although I moved to Manchester when I was one, so class myself as a northerner), but I moved back down here 8 years ago to find that it doesn't exist!

Apparently, Russell Grant (camp, round astrologer bloke) is heading a campaign to get Middlesex reinstated. Doesn't seem to have done much good, though. You'd think he'd be able to look into the stars or whatever it is they do to see if it's worth his while pursuing it!!

I've always wondered why there isn't a Norsex.

Maybe it's because it sounds too much like "no sex" said with an east yorkshire accent (think Hull/Liz McDonald from Corrie) :rotfl:

Me too tig, my parents sent me to a girls grammar school thinking I wouldn't be led astray by boys. Of course what it really meant was us girls spent our entire day plotting how we could get out and lead the boys astray.

Oh, I don't know... just think what a different world it would be if number one in the charts was a middle aged Italian with a 'tach with a polyester/wool mix pullover stretched over his portly little body, supported by short Farah-clad legs
