Recommendations on Housing areas around M60/M62

Hi All,
I'm looking to move to somewhere within easy reach of the M62/M60. Commute to Halifax shouldn't be more than 45 mins, and would like to be around an hour tops away from Liverpool City Centre.
Been looking around Rochdale / Bury etc but have no idea of what those areas are like (other than they meet the above travelling times etc).
Any suggestions would be wonderful, south of the M60 would be just as acceptable as North of it assuming it met the above restrictions.

Milnrow is a small village near Rochdale and is 5 mins from the m62. Easy access to Halifax by motorway (15 mins) or a roads (lovely route) and an hour away from Liverpool. I recommend it.0

Mirfield is a lovely village . Schools outstanding ofsted . Not far to Leeds or Huddersfield. Direct train to London . Variety of houses .
