Hi all
Visited my friend last night and she gave me a bottle of (out of date) Almond Oil.
The only thing I really know what I can use it for is cuticles. My friend said it's apparently good for taking off eye makeup!!
Any other (non-edible I would assume!) suggestions please??
Thanks!

As long as it isn't rancid (it will stink if it is) then I would use it for a facial, cuticles (as you said) or as a massage carrier oil and add some essential oils to it0

Also good as a deep conditioner for very dry or damaged hair0

Thanks for the replies!
Have done a bit more googling and found this:1. A general face and body moisturizer (you can add a few drops of your favorite pure essential oil to scent it.)
2. Eye makeup remover: Just add a little to a cotton pad or ball, and it will effectively remove all eye makeup, while protecting the delicate eye area.
3. It’s great for eczema and psoriasis. If you have either of these skin conditions, just gently rub a little of the oil into the cracked areas of your skin.
4. Dandruff: If you suffer from dandruff, massage a generous amount of the oil into your scalp before going to bed, and shampoo in the morning.
5. Shaving Oil: Sweet Almond Oil is a perfect shaving oil for your legs and bikini line.
6. One more! If you have a baby – it’s the PERFECT baby massage oil.
I can actually use it for 4 outta 6 there
And some more:Almond Oil For The Skin Almond oil is good for all skin types, since it moisturizes well but is light enough not to make oily or combination skin feel greasy. It relieves itching, irritation, and inflammation; softens, soothes, and helps to restore moisture to dry skin; and helps repair dry, flaky, or cracked skin on knees, elbows, or heels. Pure almond oil goes rancid quickly, so it should be used as soon as possible, or used in blends with an antioxidant oil such as vitamin E to help preserve it.
Wrinkles – used at night after cleansing the face, a light coating of almond oil will reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, as well as helping to tighten the skin
Under-eye circles – a few drops of almond oil mixed with a few drops of raw honey and gently applied to dark under-eye circles at night will reduce puffiness and lighten them. The skin under your eyes stretches easily, so be VERY gentle when applying this.
Psoriasis and Eczema – because of its ability to relieve itching, inflammation, and irritation; almond oil is an excellent base for psoriasis and eczema aromatherapy treatments. Two tablespoons of almond oil mixed with 2 drops of vitamin E oil, 5 drops of German Chamomile essential oil, and 5 drops of true Lavender essential oil; applied several times a day; will ease the symptoms and help heal the ugly, cracked skin that comes with these annoying skin problems.
Exfoliating the skin – almond oil is one of the best base oils for sugar scrubs for the face and body. For a simple, easy to make sugar scrub, mix 1/2 cup of fine sugar with 1 to 2 tablespoons of almond oil. Apply to your skin (preferably while in the tub or shower, since this is a messy process,) and rub until the skin feels smooth. (If using this on the face, be careful not to stretch the skin while rubbing, and stay away from the delicate skin around your eyes.) Follow with a bath or shower to remove all remaining traces of the sugar. Most of us know about the benefits of almond oil for hair, but this incredible oil also has a fantastic ability to help repair, revitalize and rejuvenate dry and damaged skin to help you look and feel gorgeous all the time.
hopefully someone else can make use of this info too!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0
