Well done one your win, but can I ask a dumb question please? If you don't fish, why did you enter for a rod?“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

Hi Sunny, I enter them because i can sell the stuff, as I'm a poor university student, I need to make as much money from comping as possible

Well done. You could put it up for sale on a notice board at Uni or try an angling magazine. Otherwise its ebay/gumtree/cashconverters.

I only just realised the frustration of winning something you can't use, you get carried away answering things and sooner or later win patio doors for your caravan lol"There is no substitute for time."
Competition wins:
2013. Three bottles of oxygen! And a family ticket to intech science centre. 2011. The Lake District Cheese Co Cow and bunny pop up play tent, cheese voucher, beach ball and cuddly toy cow and bunny and a £20 ToysRus voucher!0 -
Haha yes I agree, but I always enter them because I think someone somewhere would like a brand new thing for a little bit cheaper & I can always do with the money, so really it's a fair deal

Congrats,
Sometimes I get so into entering the competitions that I don't look properly at what I'm entering to win, its not until after that I realise, oh I've just entered to win a years supply of chilli sauce or something silly like that
Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling?
