Name that Wedding Dress!

Options
Hi ladies, some help needed on this one.

Recently seen this dress on JJsHouse/JenJenHouse/AmoreModa, bit wary of buying from there as the reviews are so varied. However I know these places usually copy dresses by other people so can anyone help me name this dress? Ive had a look and come up with nothing so far :( I love the dress so much.

It looks similar to a Mark Leslie Design (style 2021), the copy artists under copyright laws are not allowed to do an exact replica, overseas anything goes I suppose.

Have a look at Pronuptia and see what they have in their range that is similar.

Good luck, you can do that easily if you put your mind to it.

I hope you find the dress.

I forgot ta add it is a lovely dress, just take the weight off slowly. I was a 'Bride' again at 66, wore a long burgundy silk dress (I bought it overseas) a gold lace bolero jacket to cover my shoulders (I made this) I had been slowly losing weight in the lead up to the wedding and since being married have lost more, so my size 20 dress is too big for me now, but being strapless I can take it in to wear again to a ball.

I looked at so many wedding dresses for ideas and as you have a year, you are going to find your dream dress.

Looking at your dress again there is a dress by Pronovia that could be adapted.

Do you know anyone who can sew?

Have a look at this link http://www.davidsbridal.com/Browse_Bridal-Gowns and if you can afford a quick trip across to the States, it like walking into a little girl's dream world. (BIG girls;' too). My dress cost $90.00 and a holiday in Texas. Seriously I was going over and it was a rush of blood to the head moment, and there was MY dress.

    Just an idea..

Thanks AJ! Tempted to risk this dress, at £200 it's a bargain but expensive if it turns out to be rubbish!!

Battleaxe we can't afford a trip stateside before the wedding, already scraping together as many pennies as possible. I can sew but not to the standards of wedding dress alterations. I will have a look at that link. Thanks.

You clearly went to a better David's Bridal than I did, I was ready to walk out of there within minutes of being there!

Kacie, I was treated so well. I felt out of place with all the lovely younf brides to be with their Mum;s and friends. Just me and Dianna, but we were made so welcome. i explained what I was looking for and the young lady went out of her way to assist. I think i tried n twenty dresses, all within the style I described and then she brought THE DRESS and apologised that it was in the sale as it was not what others wanted. I stepped into that dress, the zip went up, and I stood there, I thought I was 40 years younger. Another assistant borught some shrugs and stoles for to try with the dress. I paid for my dress and when we got back Dianna's I tried it on, she then phoned several of her friends to come over and have a look at me in it. One of the ladies asked could she buy it off me, as she was going to a ball. the dress has travelled over the Pond twice, each time on loan to someone. Each time it has been retuned in a prisitne condition, so i think my £90.00 was well spent. I bought it in a David's Bridal store in Texas.

I am sorry you did not have the experience as I had.

We still have to get that dress for the OP. It is so nice and I am sure she will look wonderful in it.

I am wondering if the dress was featured in one of the Paris Collections. i am still searching for it.

There is a Davids Bridal opening in Westfield in London in October, I don't know if that is any help. I just googled Davids Bridal London :)
Actually I probably just realised from looking at your location that is probably not an option. Oops.
