free farm open days nationwide

JUST A quick reminder that there are farms open all over the country (free ) this sunday for you to visit , i did post this a few weeks ago but cant find it now . tractor trailer rides , and meet the animals , fun for all ages , and looks like a nice day , go to http://www.farmsunday.org/farmsunday/ to find one near you ,

thanks jo_b , we have quite a few things on with us, sheep shearing , tractor trailer rides around the farm , spinning wool , loads of animals , local radio station , and tv , some market stalls , hog roast , , tractors of all sizes , and implements ,combine harvester , etc etc , and a lovely day by all accounts , what better way to see the local countryside up close and personal , all the best andy

Had a lovely day - tried some nice jam and cheese and came back with 6 eggs, all free :j

and bought 2 HUGE baked potatoes from the farm

I did thank you when you originally posted this Andy, but just wanted to thank you again. We were really looking forward to it & eldest son not well, so unable to go in end! Never mind - might be another soon, but just wanted to say thanks again.

just a quick note to say thank you to all of you that attended , and we hope you all had a good day out , we had over 1000 at ours and as farmers we were impresed by actually how much people do care about where our food comes from ,and we were happy to answer questions that the public asked us .
We are looking after the wildlife and natural plants alongside our crops and we hope you saw this ,as this is not always the case with imported products .
If you missed this year we will be back next june for another great day out all the best andy
