I just received a cal from 0845 3304800 initially she said she was calling from 'transcom' and asking me to confirm my address. I told her no as I have no idea who she is, she then tells me it's on behalf of Ebay. I have an outstanding issue and can I log on to my account, then she hung up

Have you checked ebay to make sure your account hasn't been hacked? Or to see if they've mixed you up with someone else? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

This could just be a fishing expedition by a bottom end debt collector. If they were sure it was your debt they would have stated what it was in a letter.
Stop talking to them on the phone and wait to see what comes through your letterbox.0 -
If I get a call from a number I don't recognise I don't answer and put the number into google. If it is from a cold caller from a PPI or debt collecting company it normally comes up.0

I keep getting e-mails saying there are fraudulents attempts on my pay pal account and someone from Germany is trying to change my password. Since I don't have a paypal account, these are obviously phishing expeditions, and I suspect what you have had is the same.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0
