Household Ammonia

I bought a bottle of household ammonia just before we moved last year it is still unopened and in it's date.The problem is I can't remember why I bought it.I don't wan't to waste it but would appreciate anyone telling me what you use it for.Thanks.

I dont suppose you have a tiled floor do you? if so my mum swears by adding some to the water when she mops..the floor comes up great...even better if she adds a drop of zoflora to hide the smell EEWW

Its for cleaning oven shleves

get your manky oven shelves, stick them in a bin bag chuck a few dropsd of ammonia in ( watch your eyes and hands its vicious stuff) and then put the bin liner outside or a few hours. if you have an outside hose, hose them down- no scrubbing needed , they will gleam
