What to do with wild cherries?

We have lots of cherry trees in common land behind our house, DD18 picked a plastic shopping bag full, cooked them up with sugar (I think), then left on her surfing hols! Unfortunately she didn't de-stone them first. I will probably have to cook them up again with more water and pass them through a sieve to get the stones out. Anyone have any idea what I can do with them after that? even though they are more stone than fruit, to buy they are expensive - I'd rather not waste them.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!
