Apply for Mortgage in Maiden Name?

Hi Everyone,
I got married a few months ago and now my husband and I are looking to move house. So far, I have only changed my name to my married name on our bank accounts - nothing else, so electoral roll, current mortgage, credit cards etc are all in my maiden name still.
Has anyone had a similar situation and applied for a new mortgage in their maiden name then changed it to the married one afterwards? I'm just thinking that if i use my new name there isn't anything associated to it, and my maiden name credit score is 'excellent' on credit expert!
Any advice appreciated!

Not a problem, apply in your married name, lenders will also search under your maiden name.
You will need to provide a copy of your marriage certificate as well, just to confirm your new name.I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thank you! I was concerned that if I used my married name it would come up that I wasn't registered to vote etc and it would cause loads of issues!0
