down from £6 to £3, seems a bargain to me, and they have a good week on the use by date.

,"the right thing to do."
"Boycott non-free-range chicken, people!!"
Chicken police again !! I thought this was a money saving forum not one to lecture people on the morals of their purchase choices.
I sure you could find something morally questionable or find evidence of exploitation in any number of purchases that don't get commented on.
and by the way i'm not advocating cruelty for chickens but don't get me started on the so called "free range" chicken ripoff.
Sorry i just don't like being lectured0 -
I agree with this. I understand concerns about animal welfare, but it would be a shame if anyone was put off posting for fear of being told off.Chicken police again !! I thought this was a money saving forum not one to lecture people on the morals of their purchase choices.

the OP states it's cooked chicken, do they sell those by weight? I know the hot ones are a set price, but not sure about the chilled ones.
According to the web site these are "down from £6 to £3", but the price box says £3.90 (£3 per kg) and the chicken weight is 1.3kg.

What do they taste like? I've had some cooked chicken before from supermarket (can't remember which one) and it wasn't good.
£1.5 from Aldi seem a good offer given it's free rage, but there's cost of energy bill, time and OH don't always get the seasoning right too.0 -
