Part time summer comper

Is it just me? but during this recent spell of proper summer weather I don't tend to spend much time on the pooter doing comps when there's skin to tanned, garden to be tended, fish to be caught and trails to be walked.
All I can say is look out when the weather breaks because I will be making up for lost time.

Comping is fun, Winning is even better!

I'm exactly the same
Spending time with the kids, walking, camping, sitting in the garden, picnics... I do miss winning though

Totally agree wolverine, I know there are some compers who take their laptops with them on holiday and the likes but I just couldn't do it! I've loved the summer so far - drinking outside, eating outside, generally being outside...
That's probably why I've hardly won a thing! :rotfl:
(Although thinking about it, I am on MSE most days....
I'm probably just not putting enough effort in!)0 -
I hate the hot weather and I am probably the whitest person in my town lol! I hide indoors to keep cool and comp! I had a good month last month and this month has started with a fair few WEMS already! So being a snow-white woman has paid off!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

Exactly the same (bar the fishing...) can't bear to be inside if it's sunny!
Not won much lately though because of it!0 -
I don't tend to comp in the evenings though - when it has cooled down I don't mind sitting out in the garden or conservatory with my wine to watch the soaps!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

I'm the same as I like to sit outside in the sun and also have people over more often, go to festivals, camping and on holidays

Love the title "Part time summer comper":T:rotfl:
Almost like in job hunting websites: "Part time summer comper required" or "Job description: part time summer comper, salary ...":rotfl:0
