A little about me !

Good afternoon everyone !

Thought I would pop my head in and say hello

I have been "coping" with my debt level for far too long now, which is how it has spiralled, I honestly can't remember the last time I took home all my wages and didn't have anybody to pay back !

My sig lets you know the full extent of my loose purse strings, but I am getting back on track, I used to have a couple of credit cards but am glad to say they are well and truly behind me now !

The overdraft was a mad moment of relapse, I went to NY with my ma and sis in April and used my OD for spends... naughty naughty !

Safe to say I am clawing it back ! My wonderful OH knows all about my money situation and has been a real rock, he even bought me Martins books for Xmas !

The reason I am here is to try and cut back, clear the OD and chuck as much as poss at the blinking loan ! (its a fixed rate loan, so I have to make lump sum overpayments if I want to see it decrease more than my monthly repayments)

Anywho just felt a little something needed saying so people don't wonder who I am when I start joining in !

Oh and I am trying to shed a stone, the love handles have to go before the summer, so I have already jumped on the slimmer thread... :j <-- should be doing more of these I guess, every little helps !!!

Martins book is worth having, I would def recommend, even better if you don't have to buy it tho ! ;)

I was a bit worried about joining a online community which has obviously got some very established members, I am pleasantly surprised tho, not so scary at all !!!
