Channel 5 competitions impossible to enter

I always get a "whoops. Something has gone wrong" response to every competition I try to enter on channel 5. Their it department say there is nothing wrong as they can't replicate it on their system. Lots of,other compers have the same problem as me. Has anyone managed to find a way in?

I log into Channel 5 and it lets me enter, no problems here.

I don't remember ever having problems with these - sorry, that's not really helpful.

Sometimes I do have a teeny prob with various comps. I usually find that with a bit of tinkering I can get them to work. Often if it doesn't work the first time, I backspace and enter again, that usually works. Or if it's one where you have to log in, sometimes it works to log in first then enter - or log in then refresh and enter.

Suggestion: next time it happens, mention it on the comp, but also perhaps post about it here in CCC. We can try to replicate it then while it's live.

I also get the same problem with Channel 5 comps, I can never enter them, I've tried logging in through facebook as well as using different browsers.

I also have the problem. Never been able to enter even through facebook or re-registring with new email address. Tried chrome and IE.

The only way I can manage to enter is by logging in via Facebook but only works in Chrome. I/E9 won't work at all.

I didn't know you could enter channel 5 competitions online? or is it comps like the Gadget Show etc that you can't online?

I too had that same problem. Like you I emailed then and I got the same response, there was nothing wrong.

I use googlemail for my email so the only way I can enter Channel 5 comps is I re-registered using gmail instead of googlemail and I enter with gmail. It still never ever works if I forget and use googlemail.
