Thanks for your help but I won't be doing anymore, too much faff for not enough money. I rarely do anything for the lower paying companies anyway. I used to do loads of work for them when they had the allocators in the field, that was the hey day though when they did loads of top hotels and pubs. Once they got rid of the local allocators and went onto FFF, they went down hill on the people who took the jobs, the fees and the calibre of jobs. Now, they can't trust the workforce to do the jobs and have to have photos of everything, own fault for trying to cut costs. The local allocators used to know who they were giving jobs to, they knew who would do them and not let them down. Not worth working for now.

I had a vested interest in doing this visit. I'm glad I did as I got a lot out of it. I received a lot of helpful information from the advisor which I will follow up on.

Other than that, I'll only do their other main client if it's close by and the fee had tripled due to urgency, which has happened on the rare occasion.

Team Driving Force are driving me mad. I would have accepted the low paid assignment weeks ago if I was that desperate, stop emailing me MF.

I only get one email off of MF per day with the "check these out" subject.

I've had to block DS and MSL. My gosh, they email every other minute for the same !!!!!!! jobs. GFK were blocked ages ago.

In the past, they used to have the decency to have a premium fee when they got desperate enough to email out. Now they don't.

It's just "Hey, check this out - a job no one has accepted - I wonder why!"

This whole lark is starting to get tiresome. Just pay a little more in the first place, don't ask for stupid/pointless/valueless tasks to be undertaken and you'll get the job done. All sorted. Everyone happy!

Looked at those - they really are having a laugh with that fee. Twenty seven questions and one of those questions is one of those awful long paragraphs - describe your visit from end to end and what is good about the experience. Least the GFK version pays more and the report is easy to do.

They don't stick around too long here, the jobs are fairly easy to do.
  • Hiya,

I've just joined the secret eating company. There's loads of jobs I could book but I've no idea how much work is involved. There doesn't seem to be an option to preview the questionnaire.

Please could someone let me know how much detail is required and how long the report takes? I'm not sure if it's worth booking a visit.

There was a notice on the site yesterday that it would be offline from 9am GMT today. I wish they wouldn't do maintenance on a Saturday.
