Had my first shop today with truly bad service. It was almost comical, one guy looked at me and just carried on walking when I tried to ask him a question. That was an interesting report.
On another note, how foolish do you all feel when you have to use exact phrases to ask questions? It's like they try to make us sound like pompous jerks for the entertainment value.0 -
Just done my first shops today in absolutely ages, and all was going well until the last one, apologies now if anyone is eating their tea.
I've heard horror stories from friends who work in retail telling me about what their customers get up to in store but I've never believed it until today.
A small child had poo'd on the floor in a shop and rather than clear it up the staff just put a chair over it and kept serving customers.:eek::eek: If I wasn't MS'ing I would have walked out, you just know the report is going to get queried!!!£10 a day challenge £349.01/£3650

Started MS'ing again (I don't know why, the fees are even more ridiculous than ever, £4 for a purchase and return?!)
Do Assosia still exist? Haven't had any emails in ages and have Catalyst got any more clients yet? Have only ever had the toyshop.
Did a lovely visit today, when if the person you're assessing does their job properly, they find a voucher and win something, he had tears in his eyes0 -

Yes to Associa, they do have their chosen ones though. Catalyst only has the toy shop here, much more in Eire. Still well paid for a quality report.0 -
Catalyst has a caf! client in the UK as well.0

hi guys. Just a quick question:
How many vacancies are there for mystery shoppers?
Would i need any kind of experience?
Could I travel and mystery shop locally?
What sites would i need to visit to look for vacancies?
Thanks.0
