Comps removed before end date

Someones on the ball - or not. Sat down half an hour ago to do some comps ending today and theyve already been removed!

Do they not show up on a date search?

I do not comp by date so cannot really offer much of a work around,sorry.

Thanks. I search by thread then ascending, gives them all by date ending and find it easier that way. Sometimes only have an odd hour at the end of the day so find that works for me - usually. Not sure about doing date search, is that the same? Saying that, with 30 minutes to go could probably do about 6 after messing about trying to find them!

I just comp by as posted then mix it up via the popularity buttons in the sticky.

WARNING: If you are entering comps on the day or even the day before they end you run the risk that perhaps the comp has closed a little early & your entry won't be counted. Another thing to bear in mind is that the Board Guides volunteer hours of their time to keep these boards clear & running smoothly so sometimes comps which are ending today or perhaps tomorrow (in rare cases) may be moved to Game Over a little early - this is a task which has to fit around their real lives & also when they have some spare 'online' time.
SUGGESTION: If you really want to only enter comps right when they are ending then I strongly suggest you get a couple of days ahead of yourself to avoid the above.

I've no issue with expiring the competitions that have clear ending times during the day, and that time has been reached, but when many competitions don't finish until midnight, then they shouldn't go into GO until AFTER midnight.

Board Guides are volunteers who have to fit this in between real life commitments. If it's more convenient to move them a little early then we have to accept that. Especially when poor Glad is more or less coping alone while Darren is not feeling 100%.
