Caramac bars work well for cake pops coating.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

ok so just finished them and they are a success :j
i used the moulds and the recipe that was on the back.they came out perfect little ballsone was quality controlled and tasted nice
i then made a hole and squirted some melted choc in and put sticks in and put in fridge for 30 mins. then i dipped them in a bowl of melted cooking choc. coated the bottom of the ball with bottom of spoon as it wasnt quite deep enough. i then tapped them over the side of the bowl for 30 secs to get rid of excess choc. then covered them in strawberry sprinkles and stuck them in the fridge.
yummy yummy :EasterBun:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
I use the crumbled cake and frosting method, roll into balls, chill, dip sticks in chocolate then stab into cake ball. I use either candy melts thinned with a touch of Trex, or "cake covering" - something with a high veg oil content. Asda's own is cheap and good. Fancy Belgian etc is too brittle to use on its own and will just crack.
Try the "Bakerella" website - she is the cake pop guru. I also make and sell them at craft fairs, for party favours etc locally and I can pm you my facebook page if you like. (I don't sell on there!)
Dead easy! Good luck!
