Quickest way to sell house

Does anyone know the quickest way to sell house? Cannot afford mortgage payments and need to sell quick while there is some equity in the house before repossessed.
Has been with an agent for 8 months and only 2 viewers, and have dropped price twice and still no interest.

Price realistically/low. If it's not sold in 8 months, it's overpriced or has a major compromise. Or consider auciton. Ask EAs if they have any investors who might be interested. Swap agents maybe.

Don't consider the 'buy quick' companies - they will undoubtedly underprice substantially, and often reduce the offer again just before exchange and/or after survey.

I'm sorry about your situation OP, but I agree with hazyjo - we've previously needed to sell quickly in order to relocate closer to ailing family and found that the best way to attract a quick sale was to price extremely realistically.

I appreciate you say you've already dropped your price, but unless there are other issues with the property, it usually comes down to price at the end of the day......

Our house was not at all typical for the area - which whilst a popular location with locals, was not the nicest of places - and to make matters more difficult, it was twice the size and value of most properties in the neighbourhood.

We did contact some auction houses, but because our house was renovated to a high standard it wasn't what they were looking for.

There was nothing even remotely similar to compare sold prices with, so we ignored the price we'd purchased at, ignored the amount we'd spent renovating and pitched our price at what we believed to be a realistic level - which was borne out by the fact we received an offer we were prepared to accept within the first fortnight.

Within three months of putting our house on the market we had completed on the sale and on the purchase of our new home........I'm convinced if we'd been stubborn and insisted on getting our money back, we'd have still been there now!
