Bicarbonate of soda. It's really cheap - about 40p a tub - and if you put some in the fridge it acts as an odour absorber and is much cheaper than the commercial ones. I have some in a ramekin in my fridge, and change it every couple of months or so.0

When I clean the fridge, I finish it off with a rinse of half water and half vinegar. Sometimes instead of vinegar I use a bit of lemon juice.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0

I saw that as well!! Worth a try.
I've always used bicarb of soda though. I keep a small ashtray with it in at the back of my fridge and change every 2-4 weeks.

Cut the top off a lemon, scoop out most of the pulp, leaving a little bit and some juice, fill the lemon with salt and leave in the fridge. Really effective for de-odourising0

If you drink fresh coffee you could wrap some coffee grinds in a piece of kitchen towel and stick that in the fridge. Should deodorize it nicely.SIMPLE SIMON - Met a pie man going to the fair. Said Simple Simon to the pie man, "What have you got there?" Said the pie man unto Simon, "Pies, you simpleton!"0
