This is the first step to making a complaint, if such an action appears necessary after you have seen the sales documentation.
They may charge you £10 for the trouble.0 -
If u don`t have nothing good to say, why say anything? I only come here for some advice not to be told how to write in paragraphs. I did say I`m new to this!!!
Woah there..both myself and that poster were just trying to help. You wanted advice but the post was so long winded less people were likely to read it.0 -
There are different types of life insurance, your mates at £10 a month is likely to only pay out in the event of a death, yours includes critical illness. This is much more expensive, expecially for a woman which is why your partner pays more.
Its frustrating, but you should really have researched and compared your options at the time.0 -

They were giving you some good advice. If you want people to help you, then you'll have more luck if you use a better font, and use paragrapphs. I'm one of those who didn't read your original post fully as it was so hard to read.0 -

Sorry, but if you insist on using text speak, no paragraphs etc, well it puts people off reading it....just abit of advice there.0 -
No-one on this thread has been 'mean'.0

She saw me coming and taken every penny she could.
Your post does not indicate that has taken place.I didn`t ask for mortgage protection, she suggested the most expensive one. She didn`t show me any cheaper ones at all.
The adviser is required to recommend to what your needs are. You agreed with that and proceeded. Since then, you have chosen to ignore your financial needs and decide to reduce your cover below what your needs are. If you said to the adviser at the time that you couldnt afford to cover yourself to the ideal then the adviser would have given advice on ways to reduce the cost whilst telling you that you would be compromising your coverage and putting you and your house at risk.
If you suffer a claimable event for which you are no longer covered, will you be complaining to your husband's mate that he has left you financially worse off?I know I`ve been gullible and I can`t believe I said yes to the things she sold me.
Nothing suggests you have been gullible. Indeed, making the changes you have could cost you a greater amount in the long term.I trusted this woman, that`s why I never thought I`ve been sold the most expensive stuff.

Did the hat fit?
No, people are being polite, and helpful, and you are throwing your toys out of the pram.
Now, do you want some help, or do you want to have a bit of a tantrum? If you want help, then you'll get more if you do people the courtesy of asking for it in as close to standard English as you can muster.0
