Anyone tried honey and cinnamon to help weight loss?

I've been reading a lot about honey and cinnamon in hot water to help weight loss, has anyone tried it, does it work?

Comments

  • Not even heard of it. I guess you could try it and see what happens. Wouldn't have thought it would harm you anyway.
  • Haven't tried it, to be honest there's no reason it would work but I guess it'll be a nice drink :)

I doubt it! Honey is 100% sugar just in an unprocessed form, it'll turn to fat as readily as any other sugar!

  • I suspect that if it worked, everyone would be drinking it and you would be buying it off the shelf in supermarkets!

There's lots of advice on this forum about losing weight but I've never seen this mentioned before. As stated above, honey is a form of sugar which I would be inclined to cut down on if wanting to lose weight.
