Groupon partner website wouldn't accept voucher

Hi

Last week I tried to order a photo book with printerpix using a groupon, it cost £22. I bought it a while back and never got round to doing it. it took two days to sort and organize the book, meaning I got to the checkout on the final day of the vouchers validity. The voucher was accepted but the total never changed. Meaning they wanted the full value of the book instead of the P&P as stated on the voucher.

I contacted the vendor (it took 3 days for them to get back to me), who basically said the voucher has expired they cant extend the voucher without groupons permission. So I contacted them, who said because of the agreement they have with printerpix they could not extend the voucher.

I know its only £22, but i feel a bit perplexed. I attempted to use the voucher within the stated period (and I have evidence of this as I took a screen shot of the check out), but because the vendor system would not process the voucher correctly then I should lose out.

Do I have any rights that I could throw at them, I'm good writing complaint letters. I'm not really after a refund, just the book that I paid for.

Any help/advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Cheryl

Write to groupon, send them a copy of the page showing you tried to use it, then ask for a full refund or an extension. Give them 14 days to do this.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
