Are there Cheap UK Courier Services?

Hi there, I hope this is the correct section to post in?
I have a few 10 products to sell on ebay, they are all the same size box - 30cmx15cmx15cm and each weight 600g.
The local Post Office are quoting me £9 + VAT (via parcelforce), which I think is VERY EXPENSIVE??
I would ldeally like to start selling more of these products on ebay, to earn earn money but with courier prices like that I will not make any money. The product itself is only worth £12.

Does anyone have any ideas please for cheaper parcel services?

I've used Collect+ for eBaying (http://www.collectplus.co.uk/).

BTW, there is a dedicated forum for eBay use, it would be worth going there for more info.

I go use parcel2go.com and MyHermes usually comes out cheapest at £4.20 for up to 2kg on a 3 day service.

I shouldn't bother, tingle seems to have gone to pastures new.
