is huddersfield branch open? what happens if your goods are faulty and the branch has closed down

Index customer services are supposed to be open for a further 2/3 months the manager told me in Croydon!

Croydon is supposed to be closing next Saturday, although they said that if there is hardly any stock left they may shut early!

I bought a treadmill which was reduced from £130 to £83 about 3 weeks ago. The instructions are really crap, pieces are missing and you cant make sense of it. I went into the store today and told the manager that I had bought the treadmill, but bringing it back will cost me £20 because I dont drive and will have to get a mini cab. He said that if I get a mini cab receipt he will refund that for me to!

Today I bought a little tikes slide for my little one down to £16, toys r us are doig it for £49.99!

They have a further 50% off all furniture, 30% off all jewellery and a further 20% off everything else. You have to take it off the marked price!

Went back to the York Index today and managed to get

an electric 'rock' guitar for £42 (was £140)
Conflict Vietnam for the x-box for £8 (was £30)
and a turtle swim floatie thing for £2.50 (was £10)

That's my eldest birthday present sorted(the guitar), more than happy with my bargains today.

Like most people say, there is very little left now but they were selling all their batteries off for 50p today, for any size, and pack.

Got some packs of 8 energizer AAA, and some Duracell M3 4 AA.

Had loads left, so should be worth a visit even if there is nothing else left.

You will probably find that most Index branches will have closed down today.

Been into my Index today and all batteries were 25p per pack, all sale items had an extra 70% off at till. It was hectic and everyone had armfuls of goods. Gold rings were under £4, canvas screens £3.50 (were £25), hair crimpers £1.80 etc etc. Rio so perfect foundation £89.99 down to £44.99 then down to £13.50. Nice embroidered single duvet sets were £14.99 down to £2.70. It shut at dinnertime today.
