Is the 0% only applicable to your credit limit. If I have a limit of £5000 and buy something that costs £5500, what happens?

The question is why would you want to break the credit limit? I should imagine the zero percentage on the whole balance is voided as you have broken T&Cs.0

if you have a limit of £5000, and try to buy something costing £5,500 i would expect your card to be declined0

Ok, so I assume credit cards work slightly differently to debit cards when it comes to going over the limit.0

If you break any t & c conditions, (over limit, late payment etc), the 0% offer will probably be withdrawn.
Debit cards don't have limits, so work nothing like credit cards.0
